We have a lot we’d like to share about our second week in Myanmar but are finding it impossible on most days to load WordPress for our blog. No progress on uploading photos either. Even sending mail is hard (we can read email but it’s difficult to send for some reason). Very frustrating!
Stay tuned for our opinion on the local wine, an update on life on the “Burma Bayou” and photo summaries on people and transport. Are the kids tired of pagodas yet? Surprisingly not!
When we have a viable connection, we will post more about our fascinating visit here. Four more days then off to Thailand on Feb 4.

Jenn, frustrating about the internet situation in Burma. Definitely one of the hazards of global blogging. Fortunately nowadays most places – even in SE Asia, like Thailand – have pretty good internet so hopefully this will be a rare issue for you guys on your travels. We’ll be waiting patiently for your posts as and when they come. Dan
