Myanmar – Transport Photo Essay

Tim’s Post

I had a great time eyeballing all the different ways we saw people and things moving about the country. I was hoping to see more rolling wrecks, beaters of cars that had no business being in existence, like we saw in South America. However, apart from a few old Chinese trucks, I didn’t see anything that was obviously old. I think cars expire faster here- they are driven harder, on tougher roads, and so may not last as long. Anyway, we did see a range of different people- and goods-movers roaming the roads and waterways.
